Been there with a determined water-tipper. Most gravity jugs are tall and light, so they slide or wobble. A few quick helpers are a grippy silicone mat or rubber shelf liner under it, setting it in a low baking tray to catch spills, and keeping the bottle filled to the top so it sways less. If your cat is persistent, the real fix is a dispenser with weight at the base and a bottle that locks to the base.
I would switch to PetSafe Healthy Pet Water Station. The stainless steel bowl adds weight at the bottom and the reservoir locks into the base, so a head butt or paw shove will not pop it loose. That combo makes it much harder to tip and keeps the water where it belongs. Pair it with a silicone mat and you should finally get a dry floor.
Totally agree on the silicone mat, a low tray, and keeping the bottle topped up to cut the sway. I had the same problem with a cat who treated the jug like a bowling pin. That pick solves the root cause since the heavier bottom and locking reservoir stop it from sliding or popping loose, so shoves and head butts do not turn into spills. Add the mat and you should finally have a dry floor.
