One more quick check: make sure the jar/blade assembly is fully locked down - if it’s even slightly loose the clutch can chatter and sound like grinding. If you see rubber dust or rounded teeth and the drive coupler is usually a DIY fix: unplug, gently warm the coupler to soften adhesive, then twist it off clockwise (most are reverse-thread) and install the new one snug. If the base itself makes the noise, the cooling fan may be rubbing its shroud after a bump; reseat or nudge the shroud away, and avoid running it until sorted or you’ll finish off the bearings.
