- 1. Anyone know why do my motion sensor LED closet lights turn on randomly at night and how do I stop it?I installed four rechargeable motion sensor lights in our hallway closet last week. They keep popping on around 2 a.m. even when the door is closed. I thought it might be the air vent moving clothes so I moved the hangers and even taped a sleeve. I charged them fully and set them to low sensitivity. Still getting random activations! The lights are the type with magnetic strips and a tiny PIR sensor. I can return them if needed, but I’d rather fix it since cutting new adhesive would be a hassle. Would covering part of the sensor or adding diffuser tape help. Help before I return them!Posted 2 months ago by Christopher White
- 2. Anyone know is a 20V cordless drill compatible with other 20V batteries from different brands?I'm looking at a 20V drill/driver kit and I already own a couple 20V packs from another tool line, and Do these drills share the same battery interface or are the mounts and electronics usually proprietary? I'd like to avoid buying another charger if possible.Posted 2 months ago by Mackenzie Gomez
- 3. Why is my cordless drill battery not charging on its docking charger?Battery sat for a couple months and now the charger light just blinks—any quick fixes before I replace it?Posted 2 months ago by Eugene Barnes
- 4. Why does my 20V cordless drill battery die so fast?My 20V cordless drill keeps dying after just a few screws which is maddening. The charge light shows full, then it drops to one bar under load. I store the batteries in my unheated garage, and the charger says they’re fine. I’ve cleaned the contacts, tried two batteries, and even slow-charged overnight. Buying a new drill isn’t in the budget right now, so I need a fix or maintenance routine that actually helps. Is this a battery health issue, a charger problem, or something with the drill’s electronics?Posted 2 months ago by Anika Patel
- 5. Why won’t my cordless drill battery charge on the dock and what can I try before replacing it?Charger light just blinks and the pack never takes a charge even after cleaning the contacts. I tried a different outlet and let the pack cool, but no change. Before I shell out for a new battery, is there a safe reset or diagnostic step I can do to confirm the pack is actually toast?Posted 2 months ago by Lauren Kelly
