- 1. Anyone know why is my new blender making a weird grinding noise and how can I fix it?I actually recently bought this blender from Amazon to make smoothies every morning but it's been acting up. It's a high-speed model, and after just a few uses, it started making this awful grinding noise whenever I turn it on. I have a small kitchen and can't afford to replace it right away, plus I need it for my daily routine. I've tried cleaning the blades thoroughly and making sure nothing is stuck, but that didn't help. I also checked if the container is properly locked in place, yet the noise persists. Maybe it's an assembly issue or something with the motor. I don't want to return it if it's an easy fix.Posted 1 month ago by Anthony Brown
- 2. Anyone know how do I know if my car's battery is dying and what should I replace it with?My car is acting up. It won't start sometimes. The lights are dim too. This started last week. I drive an old sedan. It's from 2010. I tried jumping it once. That worked for a bit. But it happened again. I checked the cables. They look okay. No corrosion. I need a new battery I think. But which one? Amazon has lots. My budget is tight. Under $100 maybe. It has to fit my car. I live in a cold place. So it needs to handle winter. What do you guys suggest? I've never replaced one before.Posted 1 month ago by Zara Ahmed
- 3. Anyone know which baby monitor has the best range for a two-story house and is it reliable? We're expecting our first child soon and live in a two-story home so we need a monitor that can cover the distance without losing signal. Our nursery is upstairs, and we often hang out in the living room downstairs. We tried a basic audio one before, but it cut out frequently when we went to the kitchen. Budget is around $100, and we prefer video capability for peace of mind. It should have night vision too and since the baby will sleep in a dark room. We've looked at a few on Amazon, but reviews are mixed on reliability. Something with good battery life would be ideal, as we don't want to plug it in all the time.Posted 1 month ago by Anna Bryant
- 4. Anyone know hey guys my e-reader keeps freezing during use, any fixes?I've had this e-reader for about a year now and it was perfect for reading on my long commutes & but lately, it freezes up midway through chapters. I rely on it because physical books take up too much space in my bag, and I can't always access my phone's battery for reading apps. I've tried restarting it multiple times and even did a factory reset once, but the issue persists, especially with larger files. Storage is almost full, but I've deleted some books. I'm limited to Wi-Fi at home for updates since data is expensive. Any troubleshooting steps or settings I might have missed?Posted 1 month ago by Peter Harris
- 5. Anyone know what is the best moisturizer for dry skin that doesn't feel greasy? My skin gets really dry especially in winter :) I've tried a few creams, but they either don't help much or leave my face feeling oily. I have sensitive skin too, so I need something gentle without strong smells. My daily routine is simple: wash, moisturize, and sometimes sunscreen. Budget is under $20. I want something that absorbs quick and lasts all day. Last one I bought broke me out in pimples. Any suggestions?Posted 1 month ago by Ryker Walker
- 6. Anyone know is a Bluetooth OBD2 scanner compatible with a 2012 Honda Civic and which app works best?My check engine light came on in my 2012 Civic and I want a Bluetooth OBD2 scanner I can use with my phone. I have a small budget and would like to spend under $50. I tried a friend’s old scanner and it would not stay connected. I use an Android phone, but my sister might want to use it on her iPhone too. I need something that can read codes and clear them, not just show live data. If it can show readiness monitors, that’s great. What apps work best and are free or cheap?Posted 2 months ago by Reuben Hughes
- 7. Anyone know is the metal pasta roller attachment compatible with older tilt-head stand mixers and is it safe to wash?I inherited an older tilt-head stand mixer from my grandma and I want to make fresh pasta. I'm eyeing the metal pasta roller/cutter attachments, but I'm not sure about compatibility with the older hub. I'm also worried about cleaning since some say you should never wash them. Budget is mid-tier, and I'd rather buy once. I've watched a few videos and read listings, but specs are all over the place. Anyone using these on a 15+ year-old mixer and what fits and what is safe for cleanup?Posted 2 months ago by Kenneth King
- 8. Anyone know why do my motion sensor LED closet lights turn on randomly at night and how do I stop it?I installed four rechargeable motion sensor lights in our hallway closet last week. They keep popping on around 2 a.m. even when the door is closed. I thought it might be the air vent moving clothes so I moved the hangers and even taped a sleeve. I charged them fully and set them to low sensitivity. Still getting random activations! The lights are the type with magnetic strips and a tiny PIR sensor. I can return them if needed, but I’d rather fix it since cutting new adhesive would be a hassle. Would covering part of the sensor or adding diffuser tape help. Help before I return them!Posted 2 months ago by Christopher White
