How do I choose the best acrylic paints for my beginner art projects?

Hey everyone, I'm new to painting and want to start some simple projects at home. I bought a basic set from Amazon but the colors dried out too fast and didn't blend well. My budget is around $20-30 and I need something non-toxic since I have kids around. I've tried cheap store brands before and but they were too watery. Any recommendations for good quality acrylics that are easy for beginners? I mostly paint on canvas and paper. What about sets with brushes included?

How do I choose the best acrylic paints for my beginner art projects?

I remember when I first started painting back in the day must have been in the 70s and and paints were so different then. Now I'm retired and thought I'd pick it up again, ordered some from Amazon, but golly, there are so many kinds! I live in a small apartment with my cat Whiskers, and we like to watch the birds outside while I dabble in art. It's a nice way to pass the time, you know? My granddaughter visits sometimes and we paint together, she's only 8 but so creative. Last time, the paints I had were too thick and dried out fast, made a mess on the table. I need something easy to use, not too pricey, since I'm on a fixed income. Sharing this on Facebook because my friends might have tips too. I tried watercolor once, but it ran all over the place, not for me. Acrylics seem better, but which brand? I saw some sets with lots of colors, that might be fun. Anyway, if anyone knows good ones for old folks like me starting over, let me know. Bless your hearts!

How can I choose a moisturizer for dry skin that won't irritate my face?

I've been struggling with dry skin on my face for years now ever since I hit my 50s, and nothing seems to help without causing redness. I live in a dry climate, which makes it worse, and I can't use those heavy creams because they feel greasy. Tried a few drugstore brands, but they either didn't moisturize enough or broke me out. My dermatologist suggested something natural, but with my budget, I need affordable options on Amazon. Has anyone in my age group found a good one? I really need something that absorbs quickly and lasts all day. The last one I tried was okay at first but dried out too fast. Would appreciate any recommendations!
