How do I build an emergency fund on a tight budget?
I make enough to pay bills, but not much extra. I want to save for emergencies, because stuff breaks and surprises happen. I can put aside a little each paycheck, maybe 20 to 40 dollars. I also have some debt and I do not want fees to pile up. What steps should I do first so I can build a small safety fund and still cover rent and food?
