Is it reasonable to ask for a quiet workspace when my job is open office?

Good plan and I’d frame it as “deep work windows” with a clear SLA: urgent pings answered immediately, non-urgent within a set time outside those blocks. Track interruptions for a week and estimate the restart cost so you can show regained hours; offer off‑peak room times, a hot-desk seat, or a different floor if rooms are tight. To balance it, commit to high-availability “office hours” the rest of the day so stakeholders feel no loss of access.
Why won't this mystery novel series load on my e-reader even after multiple tries?

I actually had that model same thing with a multi book set that would never finish... Turned out one title that model that model batch was corrupted and which stalls that model whole queue, so I removed that single book, restarted, and then pulled that model rest down one by one and it finally behaved. If you bought an omnibus, skip that and grab that model individual volumes instead, starting with that model first that model order, then add that model rest after each one opens successfully. Fixed it.
I'm trying to do you keep track of passwords without losing your mind

Hi Anna, use a password manager like LastPass or Bitwarden. They're free for basics and remember everything for you. Set a strong master password you can actually recall. Idk and this worked for me after I forgot my bank login three times in a row. Just enable two-factor auth on top for security. Avoid writing stuff down if you can.
What lens filter should I get for outdoor photography with my DSLR?

I've tried a few things for my outdoor shoots and and reducing glare is key for me. A polarizer does wonders for cutting through that harsh light on water or windows, deepening the blues in the sky too. But it can make wide shots uneven sometimes, so I only slap it on when needed. For protection, I skip filters mostly and rely on keeping everything clean – a quick wipe and cap it when not in use. If you're in rough terrain though, a UV one might save your lens from dings. I tried that and it fixed everything but then... yeah, had to clean it more often to avoid smudges showing up in photos.
Is a 65W USB-C GaN charger safe for my laptop and phone?

One GaN brick has handled my laptop and phone without drama, with the laptop only dipping a few percent during an hour-long bright video call then recovering after. Heat stays mild, warm under load and never more than pocket warm.
