How do I fix my noisy blender that's shaking too much

Along with the blade and coupling checks make sure the bottom retaining ring that clamps the blade to the jar is snug and the gasket isn’t folded, cracked, or hardened - any of that can make the blade sit off-center and shake. Confirm the jar is fully seated and locked on the base; a half-twist off will rattle like crazy. Check the rubber feet on the base and set it on a silicone mat or folded dish towel to tame vibration. When blending and add liquid first, start on low, and feed in frozen stuff gradually so the load stays balanced.
Why won't my new blender start up and how can I troubleshoot it

I had this happen on a brand new one and it turned out the plug was fine but the outlet was on a wall switch, I felt silly but it fixed it. other thing was I had the lid cap out and mine refuses to run unless that little cap is clicked in. Try pushing the pitcher down and twisting until it feels locked and then hit the main power and a speed, then start. Worked instantly.
If it still does nothing, flip the reset on the outlet, then leave it unplugged for a couple minutes and try one more time, sometimes they ship with a safety trip from testing and it just needs a fresh start. If that fails, do not open it up yourself, get the seller to swap it at their expense.
Anyone know why is my new blender making a weird grinding noise right out of the box?

I service small appliances and that exact noise almost always traces to one of three things. Cross threaded blade collar, dry or seized blade bearing, or a coupler that is rubbing the motor shield. Easy checks at home. Hand tighten the blade collar until snug then back off a hair so the gasket is not crushed. Spin the blades by hand. If you feel little clicks or hear squeal, that bearing is done right out of the box.
Fill the jar halfway with warm water and a drop of soap and run a five second pulse. If it still grinds through liquid, the load is not the cause. Look under the jar while it runs and watch the coupler. If it wobbles or walks up and down, that is misalignment. Nothing you did. I tell people to return those immediately because running a misaligned coupler will chew the motor in days. Works great after a clean swap.
