Which baby monitor works best in a two-story house?

Co-sign on the FHSS picks; remember they’re still 2.4 GHz so placement matters a ton. Mount the baby unit high and aim toward the stairwell or a doorway, keep it away from chimney walls, big mirrors, or the microwave, and keep the parent unit’s antenna vertical - sometimes moving either a couple feet fixes dropouts. If you stick with WiFi, adding a mesh node or wired access point upstairs is usually a bigger win than router tweaks alone.
Why won't this mystery novel series load on my e-reader even after multiple tries?

Check content restrictions and region settings but then if that model account has parental controls or a mature content filter, a series can refuse to open without any clear error.
Temporarily lift that model restriction and try again. Also confirm that model country on that model account matches that model place where that model purchase was made. A mismatch can leave purchases stuck pending license validation. If that model e reader uses a different profile through a household or sharing setup and switch to that model owner profile and sync, then switch back and try that model download.

Give the whole support a cleaning rather than only tightening. Grit in the leg locks makes them feel tight yet slip under load and especially after a few outdoor trips. Slide the leg sections out, wipe the tubes and the clamps, let everything dry, then reassemble and snug the tension screws so the locks bite without crushing anything. While setting up, plant each foot and twist the leg a little to seat it, then keep the center column all the way down. I also make sure nothing on the setup is flapping in the wind. If there is a hook under the center, hang a bit of weight there to lower the center of gravity, even a bottle filled with water. Worth doing.
Are these running shoes good for wide feet

That model feet here too, and getting back to jogging was tough until I figured out the shoe thing. I learned that going up half a size sometimes helps with the width, even if the length feels a bit off at first. No pinching anymore.
Tried insoles for extra support. Eh, mixed results. But overall, comfort improved a lot.
How do you exit small talk at work without sounding rude

Use the classic walk-and-talk to the printer, then peel off. At the machine, nod, say 'jumping back to the grind,' and physically pivot. If they keep going, glance at your screen or mug and say 'hard stop for a deadline' like you mean it.
