Why is my new blender making a weird grinding noise?

On top of what’s already said unplug it and spin the blades by hand; if you feel gritty spots, roughness, or any up‑down play and the blade assembly bearing is on its way out and will grind no matter what you do which, yeah check the drive coupler on the base too - the little rubber clutch the jar sits on; if it’s loose, wobbly, or the teeth are chewed or shiny, that’s a slipping coupler making the racket which, yeah also be sure the jar is fully seated and the blade base isn’t over‑tightened or cross‑threaded, which can drop the blades enough to scrape the jar floor.
Anyone know how do I pick a good shampoo for dry hair?

Quick note - Try cutting daily shampooing down and on in-between days do a co-wash (massage a conditioner on the scalp rinse, then condition the ends) to reduce moisture loss. On labels, besides the milder surfactants they named, look for humectants like glycerin and smoothing silicones like amodimethicone, which latch onto damaged areas and make hair feel softer. If your hair is snapping, add a light weekly protein step (hydrolyzed keratin, silk, or wheat) and always follow with a richer conditioner so it stays flexible, not brittle.
What's a realistic way to get back into exercise after a long break?

Love this approach so yeah one tweak that helped my knees was aiming for a quicker shorter stride on the treadmill and adding 2 sets of split squats and calf raises on strength days to shore up the hips and lower legs. I also like a 3-up-1-down rhythm: add 1–2 total jogging minutes for three weeks, then hold or back off in week four so joints catch up. Keeping the easy days truly conversational pace made consistency almost automatic.
Why is the nonstick coating on my air fryer basket peeling?

I had the same thing on a mid size unit. The coating started to bubble at the rim and then flake and i emailed support with photos and a serial number and they sent a replacement basket with no hassle so it is worth a quick try if you are within a year.
While I waited I cooked everything in an oven safe pan or loaf tin placed in the basket so nothing touched the peeling surface. Works great. Also check how the drawer slides line up. If the basket lip grazes the housing every time you push it in you can sometimes reseat the drawer or slightly nudge the rails so it stops rubbing and that alone slows the damage.
