Why is my new blender making a weird grinding noise?

With the jar off and empty spin the blade hub by hand; if it feels gritty or has any up/down play, the bearing’s gone and cleaning won’t help. Check the base coupler too - rounded teeth or a loose rubber puck will chatter and grind under load. Make sure the jar is fully seated on the base and the rubber pad isn’t missing or misaligned, or you’ll get nasty metal-on-metal sounds. Since it’s new, only test with a cup of water; if it still screams, stop and get the jar or coupler swapped under warranty.
Is it reasonable to ask for a quiet workspace when my job is open office?

Great idea and make the timing predictable - say the same two hours right after standup - so it’s easy for others to work around. Book the room ahead and pair the calendar hold with a chat status that includes an escalation path (for example & ping twice or call for true urgencies). When you review the trial, frame results in terms of team wins like faster turnaround or fewer revisions.
Which baby stroller is best for city walks and folds up easily?

For tight city living pick a stroller that folds compactly and carries easily with a center grab and built in handle or strap and opens and locks in one motion, has soft shoe friendly brakes, sturdy wheels for sidewalk cracks, and a near flat seat with a harness that supports a smaller rider. If you can fold it one handed while holding a coffee and wrangling a kid you will glide through turnstiles and daily park runs without stress.
