I’d pair your number caps with a container rule: only what fits in its home stays - tees in one drawer mugs on one shelf and cords in one pouch; if it doesn’t fit, it’s an easy out. For small-town scarcity, allow exactly one backup in the spares bin and write a clear sunset date on it; if you don’t touch it by then, it goes which, yeah during each hour, use a one‑touch rule so you decide once per item instead of shuffling the same things tomorrow.

Adding one thing - I like this plan - on the bike keep the spin quick and light (about 80–90 rpm) and use the talk test or roughly 60–70% max heart rate to stay easy. Follow a simple 24-hour rule for your knees: mild discomfort during is ok, but it should be back to baseline the next day; if not, repeat the week or shave a few minutes. Every fourth week, hold or reduce time a bit, and consider swapping one ride for a flat park walk to gently build weight-bearing tolerance.

Set the rule cheerfully: 'Evenings are busy, shoot a text first!'. For what it's worth, taking a few minutes to practice this in a calm setting usually helps it stick.
