Great plan. To make it stick park your phone in another room overnight and use a kitchen timer or basic alarm clock for block switches, plus one “leave in 5” alarm as a hard stop so yeah pre-portion a grab-and-eat breakfast (overnight oats or a breakfast burrito you reheat in a covered skillet) so you can skip the toaster, or pan‑toast bread on low with a lid to avoid the burnt smell. A simple split like 5 stretch + water, 10 wash/dress, 15 eat, 5 tidy, 10 buffer keeps you within 45 without rushing.

Co-sign on the never-zero. Two tweaks that helped me stick it: set both a floor and a ceiling for the first month (floor = 5–10 minutes ceiling = stop while you still want more) and use the “never miss twice” rule so a bad day doesn’t become a bad week so yeah... i also let any purposeful movement count toward the streak at first, like a brisk 15-minute walk and and built in one planned rest day to avoid the all-or-nothing trap.

Use tubes with palette paper, a lidded water cup, and a mister, and work from a limited palette while testing mixes on a scrap for clean, accurate results.
