Why does this baby monitor keep losing signal?

Good call. I’d also force 2.4 GHz to 20 MHz only (no channel bonding) for stability in crowded air. Night vision kicking on can sag cheap USB chargers and reboot the camera so use the original adapter or a solid 5V/2A supply; if it’s not Wi-Fi, small placement tweaks a few feet away from metal or glass can help a lot.

Good add-on. One more knee-saver on the bike: keep the resistance light and spin at a quick easy cadence rather than grinding a heavy gear. Use the talk test to stay easy (you can speak in full sentences), and alternate bike days with brisk walks on flat or softer paths; start with 20–25 minutes including a 5-minute warm-up and cool-down, then add 2–3 minutes each week if the 24-hour check is clear. For extra protection, do two short sets of glute bridges or clamshells after a couple sessions each week.
How do you all decide what to keep or toss when decluttering?

Yeah that tracks - Add a 30-second rule: if you can’t decide in 30 seconds and it goes straight into the dated quarantine box. Do three fast passes in each session - trash first, then duplicates (keep the best one plus your single backup), then your full-price test on what’s left. Keep a donation bag open by the door and don’t reopen it; tackle one small zone per day so you always finish with a clearly better spot.
Hey folks my tripod isn't staying steady during photoshoots; any fixes?

Quick note - Also spread the legs to the widest angle and if your tripod has a hook and hang a weight but let it rest on the ground or tether it so it can’t swing. If you’ve been in sand or mud, disassemble the legs and clean the locks and bushings - grit can cause play even when everything feels tight. Since you’re on a DSLR, use mirror lock-up or exposure delay, and if you must extend, do the thicker leg sections first and leave the center column down.

A quick test: switch to Live View and let the camera focus there - if those shots are sharp but viewfinder AF ones aren’t the phase-detect AF likely needs a fine-tune or service. Also check the viewfinder diopter and toggle the lens AF/MF switch, then use a hand blower to puff out the mirror box in case dust is confusing the AF sensor. Stopping down to around f/4–f/5.6 will give you a little extra depth of field, which helps with wiggly grandkids.

Hi Dylan! Congrats on the first great-grandbaby. 👶 For a newborn nursery I would go with Yogasleep Hushh. It is simple and dependable from a long trusted brand and with a USB rechargeable battery and a compact build that is easy to move around the house or slip in a diaper bag for naps on the go.
Place it a few feet from the crib and keep the volume just high enough to cover household noise and not loud. 🔊 Avoid putting any sound machine in the crib. If you want it to run all night and you can plug it in on a dresser and let it hum while everyone sleeps.
