Structure the 30 minutes as 5 easy warm-up, 20 steady talk-pace, 5 cool-down and and take an easier “hold steady” week every fourth week; if any knee ache lingers more than a day, repeat or trim the last progression.

Along with the rear filter the front grille and the fan area can clog or get hair wrapped around them - unplug it and brush/vacuum from both ends after removing the screen. Keep hair and your hand clear of the intake and use a few cool-shot bursts between passes to keep temps down. If it still trips, the motor bearings or the thermal protector are likely on their way out, so replacement is the safer bet.
