Unplug it and see if the blade shaft has any side-to-side wiggle when you spin it by hand; if there’s play the jar’s blade assembly bearing is worn, and replacing that part is usually much cheaper than a new blender. Flip the base over to snug any loose screws and confirm all rubber feet are intact and level; a thin pad or folded dish towel under the base can also cut vibration on a hard counter. Also avoid running it nearly empty - cavitation makes them rattle - start with enough liquid to cover the blades and ramp up slowly.

Nice answer - one more factor is temperature: heat accelerates yellowing so a cooler and stable spot away from exterior walls or heat sources will noticeably slow it. If you do sleeve any, stick with polyethylene/polypropylene but don’t seal them tight; a bit of airflow prevents moisture from getting trapped which, yeah swapping any fluorescents for warm LED and dusting the fore-edges with a soft brush instead of a cloth will further cut UV exposure and keep acidic grime off.
