Which mystery novels are gripping for long flights?

To add to that - Solid list. I’d add Shari Lapena (The Couple Next Door, An Unwanted Guest) and Lucy Foley (The Guest List) for compact twisty reads that fly by. If you want classic puzzle-y and super light, grab Agatha Christie - And Then There Were None or The ABC Murders are slim mass-market editions under twenty. Peter Swanson’s The Kind Worth Killing is another tight, unpredictable paperback that’s perfect for a flight.
How often should I replace my electric toothbrush head?

Quick note - Solid advice. One more thing that helps heads last: with an electric don’t scrub - hold the bristles at about a 45-degree angle to the gumline and let them sit and glide a couple seconds per tooth surface and which prevents early splaying. Using a low-abrasive toothpaste and the softest compatible head also slows wear and is gentler on gums. And if you’ve been sick or had mouth sores, replace the head even if it’s ahead of schedule.
Why won't my DSLR camera focus properly in low light

Use manual focus with magnified live view on a bright star, rack past infinity then ease back until it is a tiny pinpoint and leave it. Shoot wide open at high ISO with a shutter from the 500 rule for your focal length and use a short delay to prevent shake, and recheck focus as the night cools.
How do I fix my noisy refrigerator that's not cooling properly?

Start by pulling the fridge out, power it up, and listen at the back so you can spot a dragging condenser fan or an iced evaporator, then clean the fan and fully defrost the freezer while flushing the drain. If cooling fades again the defrost system needs work, and if you hear a buzz then click from the compressor the start relay or overload is likely weak.
