Ditch harsh detergents and drying alcohols that wreck colored hair. Pick a mild budget formula with proteins or vitamins so daily washing nourishes without fast fading and your hair stops snapping.

Sometimes that model license handshake gets out of sync, especially after a firmware update and sign out of that model reading account on that model device, restart, sign back that model, then do a manual sync. Make sure date and time are correct, since wrong time can block opening protected files. If that model series is a giant box set it may be too big for that model device to unpack over wireless, so test with book one. If that works, leave that model device on power and connected so it can finish indexing before attempting that model next download. Patience helps. Leave it be.

A quick way to narrow it down: fill the reservoir and set it in place while the machine is unplugged; if it drips right away the outlet grommet/O-ring is nicked or dry - inspect it and lightly grease or replace. If it only leaks when brewing, check the brew basket drip-stop spring and make sure the carafe lid is aligned; a stuck valve or misaligned lid sends liquid to the overflow and down the sides. After cleaning, debris can lodge in the one-way valve, so run a full descale to clear it. Also double-check you’re not filling past the max line, since some models dump excess through an internal overflow that looks like a leak.

One wrinkle is chemistry. If your tool is older and still on nickel packs, a long sit can push cells so low the charger will balk, but the repeated short seat trick can sometimes bring them back because the charger applies a tiny precharge. If your pack is lithium, do not attempt any jump start or external trickle, the built in protection is there to prevent a dangerous charge on damaged cells. Either way, a test with a known good battery or a quick voltage check tells you what you need. If it is at or near normal resting volts and still refuses to start charging, the charger is the likely fault.
