I inherited an older tilt-head stand mixer from my grandma and I want to make fresh pasta. I'm eyeing the metal pasta roller/cutter attachments, but I'm not sure about compatibility with the older hub. I'm also worried about cleaning since some say you should never wash them. Budget is mid-tier, and I'd rather buy once. I've watched a few videos and read listings, but specs are all over the place. Anyone using these on a 15+ year-old mixer and what fits and what is safe for cleanup?

I use my air fryer most nights for chicken and veggies. After a few months the basket’s nonstick coating starts to flake. I wash it by hand with a soft sponge, and I never use metal tools. I even tried parchment liners and cooking at lower temps. It still keeps peeling, and I don’t want flakes in my food. I’m on a budget, so I’m hoping for care tips or a replaceable basket that won’t peel so fast.

Even on lower temps it billows smoke and sets off my alarm. What simple fixes actually work to stop the smoke besides not cooking bacon in it?

Cooking for two in a studio with counter depth of 15 inches and limited ventilation. I care most about CAPACITY vs footprint and even toasting. Does stainless steel actually clean easier, and how loud are the fans?

My apartment is a mix of hardwood and rugs and my robot vacuum has started skipping the bedroom on its map. It used to map fine, but recently the layout looks partial and it wanders around without doing the edges. I’ve checked for clutter and moved the charging dock to a more open spot, but that didn’t help. I also wiped the sensors and updated the app firmware, yet it still fails to recognize that room. I can’t rearrange big furniture or add magnetic strips everywhere because I’m renting and keeping costs down. What else should I try, and at what point should I consider replacing parts like the cliff sensors or side wheels?
