Honestly... oh dear, I just bought this blender on Amazon because my old one finally gave out after 20 years and now this new one won't even turn on! I'm 64 and not too tech-savvy and you know, I mostly use Facebook to chat with my grandkids. I plugged it in, pressed the button, but nothing happens – maybe it's the outlet? I tried a different plug in the kitchen and even the living room, but still zilch. Budget's tight on my pension, so I can't afford to return it right away. Has anyone else had this problem? I read the manual, but it's all gobbledygook to me. Any simple fixes before I call customer service?

I recently bought a whole mystery series on Amazon for my Kindle but it's not loading properly no matter what I do. First off, my e-reader is a bit older, and I updated the software last week thinking that might help, but nope. My internet connection is fine since other books download okay, but this series just hangs. I've tried restarting the device several times and even deleted and re-downloaded the files. Budget-wise, I don't want to buy a new reader if I can avoid it. It's frustrating because I was really looking forward to binge-reading these. Are there any specific settings I should check?
