The parent tip is solid and I’d add that in desert air and humectant‑heavy creams (lots of glycerin or hyaluronic acid high on the label) can feel drier unless you seal them in, so either top with petrolatum or switch to a formula richer in occlusives and emollients like shea, squalane, dimethicone, and ceramides. Apply within a minute of bathing while skin is still damp, and avoid foaming cleansers or anything with denatured alcohol high up the list. Also check that your “moisturizer” doesn’t include retinol or exfoliating acids, which can make dryness worse at first.
That's the worst for camping. Been there. Try inflating it and spraying some soapy water all over; bubbles will show you the spot. Tiny holes are sneaky. Once you find it, dry it off and slap on a patch with good glue, you know, the kind that sticks to vinyl. Let it cure for a day. Works great. Or if it's too much hassle, just return it to Amazon, their policy is pretty solid. Don't suffer through flat nights. Yeah, fixed mine that way and it's held up for months now.
