I’d add the Joovy Kooper Lite to your list - true one-hand standing fold bigger wheels than the ultra-compacts, and it often lands near your budget. For longevity, look for a 45–50 lb weight limit, a tall seat back, lockable front wheels, and metal hinge points, then do a one-handed curb-pop test in store with 10–15 lb in the seat to check flex. A light spray of dry silicone on the fold joints and wiping grit from the wheel hubs after wet days keeps the fold smooth and helps it handle buses and gate-checks.
I've had mine for over a year, and I swap out the heads every two months because I brush pretty vigorously which, yeah the bristles start looking worn around then, and I don't want to risk not cleaning properly. Works fine for me which, yeah if yours are fraying already after six months, maybe check your technique; lighter pressure might make them last longer.
Also, storing it properly helps; I keep mine in a dry spot to avoid bacteria buildup. That way, you're not replacing more often than needed and saving some cash.
