I recently bought a whole mystery series on Amazon for my Kindle but it's not loading properly no matter what I do. First off, my e-reader is a bit older, and I updated the software last week thinking that might help, but nope. My internet connection is fine since other books download okay, but this series just hangs. I've tried restarting the device several times and even deleted and re-downloaded the files. Budget-wise, I don't want to buy a new reader if I can avoid it. It's frustrating because I was really looking forward to binge-reading these. Are there any specific settings I should check?

Well hello there friends! I'm 64 and just retired and so I've got all this time on my hands now. I used to love those Agatha Christie books back in the day, and I'm hunting for something similar with clever twists. Nothing too scary, mind you, just good old-fashioned whodunits.

I've tried restarting it and forgetting the network, then adding it back, but that didn't help. My router is working because my phone connects okay, so it's got to be the DEVICE itself. We have a small apartment, so signal strength shouldn't be an issue. I even updated the software through USB, but still no luck. This is frustrating since I rely on it for my daily reading. Any suggestions on what else to try before I buy a new one?

Hey guys, I'm looking to get into mystery books. I've been bored with TV lately and want something exciting to read before bed. My friend suggested starting a series but there are so many out there. Any ideas on a good one for beginners? I like stories with detectives and twists.

I’m worried the paperback uses smaller type than the hardcover. Is it the same layout and chapters?
