Hey Kingston,
I've experimented with both morning and evening workouts & and for me and mornings edge out for overall energy levels. Waking up a bit earlier to hit the gym or go for a run gets my blood flowing right away, which carries that buzz into the rest of the day. It's like kickstarting your metabolism first thing.
studies suggest it can improve alertness and mood because of the endorphin release early on. Plus, in a normal household, mornings are indeed quieter, so you avoid the evening rush when everyone's home and dinner needs making.
One concrete tip is to prep your workout clothes the night before to make getting out of bed less of a hassle. That said, evenings can work well if you're naturally more energetic later in the day, but I've found that post-work fatigue often kills my motivation. If I push through, the workout does help de-stress, yet it sometimes leaves me wired and messes with sleep if I finish too late, say after 8 PM. Consistency-wise, mornings build a routine that's harder to skip since life doesn't get in the way as much. Ultimately, it boils down to your body clock. try both for a week each and track how energized you feel by midday. I'm not entirely sure about the science for everyone, but in my experience, mornings win for sustained energy without the evening crash.
